About Us

Sierra Dorada is a non-profit organization with a strong socio-cultural, humanistic and Christian vocation. We are committed to the upbringing of disadvantaged children and teenagers in the province of Córdoba, Argentine Republic.

The NGO is involved in the complete family restitution process and we also provide assistance to foster families and/or adoption processes. Our main objective is to improve the living conditions of disadvantaged children and young people. This is achieved by accompanying them and making the process of social integration and their transition into work smoother, thus promoting the development of independent individuals.

Sierra Dorada works closely with the national legal system, governmental institutions and international and local NGOs.

Julio and Patricia Laciar were the founders of the NGO.

To carry out this task, there is a group of volunteers and a group of paid professionals who work in areas such as: social assistance, pedagogy and comprehensive care for children and teenagers housed in our homes.
